*Reduce-recycle-Reuse
I recycle all copper, brass and cardboard that is removed from jobs. *Conserve Gasoline
My truck is a box van so running to the store for parts is reduced. I try to carry at least one of everything to fix what ever you throw at me.(I am still looking for a way to put a pipe rack on a Mini Cooper.) *Water Conservation
low flow fixtures and faucets
All of the faucets and toilets I install are water savers. Many toilets are much better now. Yes, the single flush toilet is a reality! See the toilet study for a comparison of different brands and styles. *Hot water sooner
Why wait for hot water and waste water while you wait. Install a recirculating pump and have hot water sooner! The Grundfos Comfort System installs easily and there is no crawling under the house to run a return line. All you need is an electrical outlet within 10 feet of your water heater. The pump will not use any more than a 25 watt light bulb. A built in timer allows you to operate the pump for 15 minutes or 24 hours a day.It is beneficial to insulate the hot water pipes under the house. I can insulate the lines if you don’t want to brave the dust and spider webs. Learn about the Comfort System at http://www.grundfos.com/Web/HomeUs.nsf/Webopslag/D6600B14F

An energy efficient water heater is mandated by the Building Code.
If you have the space, I will put in a heater with 2 built in foam insulation. These have an energy factor of .62 or higher. (This is good for a gas water heater.) I install State Brand water heaters. Let me replace your 30,40 or 50 gallon gas or electric unit now!
At this time I do not install tankless water heaters. *Drippy Faucet?
Find out how much water your leaky faucet wastes per day, month and year. This is amazing! http://www.awwa.org/advocacy/learn/conserve/dripcalc.cfm
